Life
Went to U. of Chicago and ended up with a BS in chemistry and MS in biochem. Then went to U. of Iowa and ended up with an M.D. and Ph.D. in pharmacology. Then residency in psychiatry and child psychiatry at U. of Iowa, and a research fellowship in child psychiatry at National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) in Bethesda, MD. Married in 2001 to Kathy Maeglin (from Moline), no children, 3 cats (enough for now). Brothers are Robert George Allen (Wichita, KS) and Delbert Charles Allen (deceased, 2001)
